[Warning] Are These popular Stomach Meds WRECKING Your Bones?

This situation has gotten so RIDICULOUS that it’s giving ME indigestion!

I’ve been warning you for YEARS about the risks of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) like Prilosec and Nexium.

These acid-blocking meds are SERIOUS drugs… they can be DANGEROUS drugs… and they were NEVER, NEVER, NEVER designed to be used long-term.

But over the past two decades, mainstream doctors have been prescribing PPIs like they’re candy on Halloween.

You’re now nearly 5 TIMES more likely to leave an outpatient visit with a prescription for a PPI than you were 20 years ago.

And guess who’s getting hurt by all of this over-prescribing? Millions of good folks just like you.

We’re seeing more of the classic PPI side effects than ever, including:

  • Osteoporosis-related bone breaks
  • Pneumonia
  • Vitamin B12 deficiency

(Among other problems.)

You don’t need to be a genius to figure this out.

PPIs shut off acid in your body, which your stomach needs to digest and absorb food.

So you end up with nutrient deficiencies… and all of the problems that come with them.

With stomach problems, deficiencies, and potential bone fractures, this makes the overprescription of PPIs an epidemic for seniors.

And the reason for all of this over-prescribing is pure ignorance.

Many doctors are unaware of the dangerous -- potentially fatal -- side effects of using PPIs constantly.

In fact, doctors and patients wrongly assume they’re safe because some versions of PPIs are sold over the counter. (That should NEVER have been allowed.)

If you use a PPI, talk with your doctor about what you need to do to get off of it.

But never quit cold turkey. You have to wean yourself off a PPI, or your digestive problems can get worse.

And for occasional heartburn, try something as simple as licorice root.

It gives you relief without shutting off stomach acid… and causing a boatload of other problems.
