EXPOSED: The real reason your diabetes meds don’t work

Here’s your chance to fight back and... BEAT DIABETES WITHOUT DRUGS

If you have diabetes, you may as well paint a bullseye on your back—because once you have the disease, you’re a target.

Big Pharma is after you. More precisely, they’re after your MONEY.

Diabetics are no longer patients in need of treatment. They’re walking, talking dollar signs—marks in every sense of the word.

The industry cranks out “new” drugs every few months, not because newer is better... not because they’ll help you to live longer... and certainly not because the latest and greatest treatments might cure the disease.

No, if they cured the disease the money would stop flowing!

The one and only goal here is to keep you alive just long enough to suck every last cent of your bank account and pump money out of your insurance policy like thieves at a gas tank.

Since drug patents expire, Big Pharma needs to keep churning out new meds to get top dollar out of you—and that’s the REAL reason they’re constantly trying to shove newer and pricier drugs in your face.

This isn’t some wild conspiracy theory. The FDA itself has just admitted that...

OK, so they didn’t come right out and say it like that. But can you guess how many lives the current crop of diabetes drugs have saved, according to FDA’s own data?

Here’s the answer: NONE.

A major analysis of 30 newer diabetes drugs by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and MedPage Today finds that none of them have ever proven to save lives, and none of them have ever proven to cut the risk of diabetes-related complications such as blindness.

When confronted, the FDA said saving lives... heck, even IMPROVING lives... isn’t the point. All a drug has to do to get approved is reduce blood sugar levels.

Forget that high blood sugar is a symptom, not a disease. Forget that very few people die of high blood sugar alone. Forget that 80 percent of diabetics die of heart problems.

Forget all that... because the FDA sure has. An agency spokesman actually said that requiring heart protection from diabetes drugs would set “an unreasonably high hurdle for the development of new therapies.”

And that’s not even the most outrageous part of this.

The FDA not only doesn’t require heart protection from these drugs... it actually allows for them to DAMAGE the heart.

Yes, you read that right. A drug can cut blood sugar and increase the risk of heart problems by as much as 30 percent and still get the official A-OK from the FDA.

I only wish I was making that up.

And get this: the companies don’t even have to look into that heart risk until AFTER the drug is on the market—and even then, they don’t exactly have to hurry.

Follow-up studies on drugs approved years ago still haven’t been finished.

Yes, friend, if you’re on these drugs, you’re nothing more than a Big Pharma lab rat—and you’re paying for the privilege, possibly with your life and limb as well as your hard-earned cash.

Now, if you’re diabetic... if you’ve been on some of these pricy new drugs yourself... if you’ve tolerated the growing number of awful side effects because you’ve been led to believe that newer is better... you’re probably pretty ticked off right now.

I don’t blame you. But...

You can turn the tables, break out of this cycle and improve by every measure you REALLY care about at the same time. Along with cutting your blood sugar levels, you can protect your heart, prevent blindness, save your feet, fight the pain of neuropathy and extend your life.

And you can do it without touching one of those expensive and poisonous new drugs or dealing with any of the side effects.

Start with my...

CINNAMON: This spice can do more than add flavor to your oatmeal. Cinnamon is powerful medicine, used since ancient times, and modern science confirms it—with studies showing that cinnamon can cut blood sugar levels by between 10 percent and 30 percent.

As a bonus, it can slash your triglycerides and even shave a few points off your BP.

There’s a catch here and it’s a pretty big one: Cinnamon also contains a poison called coumarin. Sprinkled on your latte foam, it won’t hurt you. But in the high amounts you’ll need for blood sugar control, coumarin could eat right through your liver.

Don’t worry; I’m not Big Pharma, here to tease you with “cures” that will help one part of your body and ruin another—because there IS a way to get all the goodness of cinnamon with none of that coumarin.

Use a water-based cinnamon extract instead of a powdered supplement. Since coumarin isn’t water soluble, the extract will give you all the good stuff and none of the bad. Just look for the phrase “cinnamon extract” on the label.

CHROMIUM: This little mineral takes on super powers inside your body, with just a pinch able to tame the floods of raging blood sugar levels.

In one major analysis, 13 of 15 studies found chromium can improve blood sugar control. The four studies to look at fasting insulin levels found improvements of 30 percent, and six of the 10 studies that measured fasting glucose levels found improvements of 15 percent.

Chromium will also protect your heart, boost your HDL (“good”) cholesterol and might even help you drop a few pounds—and it can do all that with NO side effects.

BERBERINE: Every diabetic knows—and dreads—the word metformin. It can leave you doubled over with pain as you blast from both ends with vomit and diarrhea.

Even the “mild” side effects are downright humiliating: loud belching and noisy, stinky farts (unless you’re 8 years old, in which case it’s hilarious).

But in one study, berberine went head-to-head with metformin and matched it every step of the way. And while berberine can also cause a little gas at higher doses in sensitive people, taking smaller doses throughout the day will usually help keep things silent and unscented.

TURMERIC: This spice is so effective at cutting blood sugar levels that diabetics are warned NOT to take it with their meds because their glucose levels could fall too far.

But instead of tossing the turmeric and sticking with drugs, work with your doc on doing it the other way around—because turmeric can do the work of drugs without the risks.

In one study, 300 mg of turmeric per day for three months improved hemoglobin A1c, blood glucose and insulin resistance.

Play your cards right with these and other natural solutions and you can reduce or even eliminate your dependence on do-nothing drugs for blood-sugar control and protect your heart at the same time.

And if you’re willing to combine these four cures with an honest-to-goodness all-natural low-carb diet, you can reverse the disease to the point where you might be able to stick your needles in a pincushion instead of your skin for a change.
