It's not just how much you eat--it’s what you eat.?
The REAL secret to diet success...
?All calories are NOT created equal!
It’s not exactly rocket science: You can lose weight on ANY diet if you just eat less than what your body burns each day.
But just because you can lose weight on the cabbage, vinegar, or Twinkie diet doesn’t mean the diet’s actually good for you.
And if there’s anything worse for your body than a bad diet, it’s a gym membership. Exercise can cause injury, joint damage, heart attack, and more——not to mention drain your bank account, too.
For what? For nothing!
The dirty secret of the gym industry is that exercise alone doesn’t lead to weight loss. It’s been proven time and again that most people simply consume more calories later in the day to compensate for what they burned off in the gym.
Heck, plenty of people don’t even wait for “later”——the get all those calories back and then some minutes after the workout, when they suck down a sugar-filled “sports drink.”
And then they wonder why they never seem to lose any weight!
Well, forget all that. I’m here to tell you there’s a better way——a way to lose weight and BURN CALORIES without a bad fad diet and without lifting anything heavier than a forkful of rib eye.
I know that sounds too good to be true, but it IS true: The latest research proves that going low carb will actually cause your body to burn as many extra calories each day as you would punishing yourself in the gym.
Researchers assigned 21 formerly obese patients who had just lost up to 15 percent of body weight to either a low-fat, low-carb, or an in-between diet for a month. Everyone got the same number of calories each day no matter which diet they were put on...but the effects on the body weren’t the same at all.
They were completely different.
In fact, the low-carb dieters burned 350 more calories a day than those who went on the low-fat, high-carb diet.
That’s the equivalent of a full hour in the gym each day, minus the monthly fee, sweat, and knee pain. In other words, a low-carb diet has all the benefits of exercise...without the actual exercise!
Those on a “halfway” diet of 40 percent carbs burned 150 more calories than the folks in the low-fat, high-carb group. But why go halfway when you can have the whole hog? Just be sure to toss the dinner rolls and potatoes (but eat the skin), and you’ll be on your way faster than you can say “medium rare.”
That alone should be enough to get you started——but those aren’t all the benefits. Not by a long shot. The low-carb dieters in the new study also had better insulin sensitivity, which means they slashed their risk of diabetes down the road.
Those who went low-fat, on the other hand, were already moving down the path towards insulin resistance——making them more likely to get the disease (and ultimately die of it) later on.
There’s no great mystery behind this. Carbs, especially sugars, cause your blood sugar levels to spike. Eat carb-heavy meals, like the ones in the typical low-fat diet, and your levels will keep spiking and plunging.
If you could plot your blood sugar levels on a graph, it would look like the world’s wildest roller coaster ride——and eventually, your poor pancreas can’t take it anymore.
Next thing you know, you’ve got a main course of diabetes with a side of heart disease, and no amount of time in the gym——and no fad diet in the world——will undo that damage.
Meanwhile, a low-carb diet is proven to keep blood sugar levels stable and well within the safe zone. And now it’s proven to actually burn the same number of calories as a full-on gym workout.
All that...and bacon, too. What are you waiting for?
