GUILTY! When saying “no” to chemo could land you in prison

When saying “no” to chemo could land you in prison

Since when did turning down mainstream medical treatments become a crime? Since the mother of a 9-year-old boy withheld chemo from her son, and he died. Now Kristen LaBrie has been convicted of attempted murder, assault and battery on a disabled person (her son was autistic), and assault and battery on a child.

All for refusing to give her sick child a drug that’s never been proven to preserve life… a drug that’s often worse than the disease itself… a drug that’s killed far more people than it’s ever saved.

When she testified in court, LaBrie admitted that she had withheld the meds from her son—not because she was trying to hurt him, or because she was neglecting him—but because she was a first-hand witness of the devastating effect the drugs were having on her son.

She said, “I was really scared that he just had had it. He was just not capable of getting through any more chemotherapy… He was very, very fragile.”

Maybe this is news to the judge and jury (and let’s face it—the medical community), but chemotherapy isn’t a cure. It’s a treatment, and not a very good one at that. To convict a MOTHER of trying to MURDER her sick child by choosing not to put him through the devastating effects of chemo is absurd.

Cynda Rushton, a nurse ethicist at the Berman Institute of Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University said, “We have an obligation to protect a child whose parents abuse them or neglect them. But there is a difference between someone who intentionally hurts their child and someone who has made a decision that a particular treatment, on balance, is not in their child’s interest.”

I am absolutely outraged by this story.

If there’s any medical treatment that ranks down there with psychotherapy as quack medicine, it’s chemotherapy.

Hands down, this is the most outrageous and illogical treatment mainstream medicine has ever come up with.

The fact that the pharmaceutical companies have managed to sell this bullcocky to the world never ceases to amaze me. The fact that someone would be convicted of murder for choosing not to subject someone to this pricey poisoning makes me lose what little faith I had in the justice system.

Sure, chemo could shrink your tumor—after all, it’s attacking the tumor’s immunity. But it’s not just attacking the bad guy’s immunity—it’s attacking YOUR immune system as well.

And that means that chemotherapy is nothing more than a roll of the dice to see which will die first: you or the tumor. It’s a safe bet for your doctor. If you end up dead, he can blame it on the cancer. But you can guarantee I won’t be taking bets on this one, because in the end…

Even doctors admit that chemo is quackery

Consider this: One of the largest and most prestigious cancer treatment centers in the world, the McGill Cancer Center in Canada, did a study of oncologists to determine how they would respond to a diagnosis of cancer.

In this confidential questionnaire, 91 percent of the oncologists said that they’d never consider subjecting themselves or their family members to chemotherapy. Why? Because the drugs are highly toxic—and ineffective to boot. And these are the same doctors that sell chemotherapy to their patients seven days a week.

Thirty years ago, I worked with a radiologist who told me, “If I get cancer, I’m going to Mexico.” I still agree with him today. If you get cancer, don’t call your doctor, call your travel agent.

For more information on chemotherapy, I recommend reading Questioning Chemotherapy by Ralph Moss. This book is a must-read for anyone who is concerned about this medical scandal.
